GYROKINESIS®

The GYROKINESIS® Method

The Gyrokinesis Method addresses the entire body through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences that open energy pathways, stimulate the nervous system, increase range of motion, and build functional strength. It is an original and unique method that coordinates movement, breath, and mental focus.

Unlike Gyrotonic, which uses specialized equipment, Gyrokinesis is practiced on a mat and chair — no equipment needed. Without the feedback and guidance of equipment, participants develop a deeper dependence on their own proprioception as they explore movement sequences, making it a powerful complement to any movement practice.
